Foundations

If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?  – Psalm 11:3

Sure Foundation

“Foundations are critical. The world’s tallest building has a concrete and steel foundation that features 192 piles buried more than 164 feet deep (15 stories). Without it, there is no way the structure would stand for long. In everyday life, there are also critical foundations—critical to the individual and critical to the nation. First among them is Christ, your sure foundation. “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). For the nation, the Constitution is the foundation laid by the Founding Fathers. For society, the family is foundational and traditional marriage is the foundation of the family. These foundations—Jesus, Constitution, family, and marriage—are all under attack in the United States. Take your stand in support of them and pray for the restoration of each in this nation.”

Our nation needs prayer.

Jesus – He must control our lives. A challenge to me to share the Gospel more.

Constitution – seeking my “rights” does not mean I ignore someone else’s rights.

Family – pray boys will grow up to be boys and girls will grow up to be girls.

Marriage – God ordained a man and a women.
