Listening to God

Telling myself He is running my life is so exciting but is not always accurate. I still need to ensure I am listening more, obeying more and following Him always. You may have heard He gave us two ears and one mouth. As part of all our relationships we should be listening more than talking in all conversations. This includes within our marriages, families, friends and our critics. He wants a relationship with us and His forgiveness of our sins has brought us a long way from where we began. For He died for us while we were yet sinners. Paul states in Romans:

And since, when we were his enemies, we were brought back to God by the death of his Son, what blessings he must have for us now that we are his friends and he is living within us!” Romans 5:10. NLT.

He sent is one and only Son to die for our sins and wants us to give our whole lives over to Him. When we commit to Him, He comes to live whin us.

The key issue is we are back to listening. I have listened many times, waited and He has answered my prayers with delight. Still at times, I still will try in all conversations my way and not listen or wait and feel frustrated when He fails to answer with MY answer. How I improve this as I move forward is to try to pray throughout each day.
