Are you really trusting God?

Isaiah 26:3

God’s peace is always available to us. His peace is perfect. In any situation, struggle, hopelessness, health issue or sorrow, His peace can surround us. We just need to put our trust in Him and keep our thoughts on Him each day. Too simple? Isaiah tells us in his 25th and 26th chapters to do this and sing His praise. ”You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3 (NLT).

This does not mean He can remove us or change all conditions or remove all predicaments from our lives. Or when we pray for others, he may not always give us our answer. God will continue to work from His perspective purpose and not mine. My Parkinson’s is not something I volunteered for, or won a contest for or was asked if I was interested. God allowed this disease to impact my live.  This has driven me to trust Him more and keep praying through every day. I challenge you to honestly trust in Him to help you with your thoughts, which lead to your words and actions. Do I act everyday like I am a child of God? Not by a long shot but through prayer, reading the Bible and worship, my wife and I have been drawn closer to God. We have felt His peace in many circumstances where we were hopeless, hurting or ready to question saying “God, what are you doing with us?” Even now into our 60’s, we believe He is not done with us yet.

What area of your life do you need to put your total trust in Him?

How much do you really trust Him?
