His Power

Philippians 4:13

With all our various health issues Patti and I have found Christ can help us in all things as long as we rely on Him. Paul says“. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength”. Philippians 4:13. (NLT). Paul talks a lot about Christ being the source of his peace and contentment weather in plenty or in want. Christ means all things when He says in everything. If we are following Him and following Hs call, Christ is always with us. That is a reminder when we felt like He are separated from Him. It is us who have moved away from Him. Whatever we are involved in, working through or wrestling through, He can provide His strength in our time of need. Our health issues have challenged us to depend on His power and strength. These times have strengthened our prayer life and Bible reading. They have also taught us how to pray for others and the importance of praying for others. We have also deepened our relationship with each other and with Christ. We still are sinners, have our sinful moments and sometimes whine if God does not answer the way we want or expect. This one is sometimes hard since the world around us is also whinny and wants things their way and immediately. Hence, we have the invention of the microwave in 1954. This was not available in homes until 1967 when families spent fewer meal times together. God can help us change our lives and anything else we need His strength for.

Do you need to depend on His strength in any area of your life?

Do you need prayer support for you to depend on Him and not your strength?

Write down five things you are thankful for.
