Answer God’s Calling?

Romans8:28.

This verse has been misused often because only the first part of the verse is quoted. So many use this verse to console those in grief. Even Christians will share with others who are going through some hard times. This also can encourage them since God does work together for good as they love God and they are within His plan and purpose .“And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them”. Romans 8:28. Our action is to love God first and build our relationship with Jesus. Then He will call us according to His purpose for us. Hopefully, we answer His call and follow His plan. Through our lives we will have many mountains and valleys. On the mountains He will provide rest and build our strength. As we spend time with Him, we continue to see, know and follow His purpose. In the valleys, we look for Him and hope we do not ignore Him when times are tough. He does work all things together as we love Him and follow His purpose. Patti and I have gone through many cycles and issue. Following Him causes us to continue to move forward and be thankful for all He is doing with our lives as we continue to work our purpose into “retirement”.

Are you seeking His purpose and knowing how to share when our friends are grieving?

Do you continue to seek His calling and purpose through your stages of life?
