God Has Got Your Life.

Galatians 6:9:

This verse is our favorite and usually the first verse we turn to for help when our faith and trust are being tested. Married for 45 years in 2022, Patti and I originally memorized this verse in The Living Bible (TLB) version”.  And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up. Galatians 6:9. TLB. Sometimes obeying God can be difficult and circumstances may not go our way. This verse’s reference is on the inside of out wedding rings. We read and pray this verse when we are discouraged, for we know in His time He will bless us. During this time, we have had many health issues. God has continued to show us blessings during and after our issues. Some issues with stay with us such as Parkinson’s and cancer. We look for big blessings but He is also in the small details of our daily lives. A plaque my wife received says “Good morning, this is God. I will be handling all your problems today. Last week we had two of our grandsons over for a sleepover and had a blast.  We are trying to have then over while they are out of school for the summer. Yesterday we received a harvest of blessings. We spent the afternoon with our 19-month old grandson and our daughter. We had some fun in his pool, watched him cut strawberries, playing with him and had a good meal with them. To top the day off, I had not had any ice cream for a while and they offered me my favorite which is an ice cream sandwich. Amen to that. God will handle our joys and problems one day at a time.

Do your days go by in a blur?

Do you take time to see His joys amidst the problems?
