Favorite Word: INTENTIONAL

How do we move forward? If we do the same things all the time, we get the same results or thus we never change. Change is a hard word. Maybe this pandemic forced us into “new normal.” What is your new normal? This may change again by this fall. Those vaccinated are presumed safe. Those that are not vaccinated are in trouble. Those that do not get vaccinated are okay if they have had the virus. After all these you are quarantined for 14 days. No wait for 10 days.  How many days? Or do we need the vaccine? What is true? This is like a “who is on first, what’s on second” Abbott and Costello deal. Hopefully some of you know the answer to my next question. Is there anything normal or consistent through these times? God is always with us and we are never alone. One side of this for me is to continue to read His Word for His truth. Be intentional to seek where God wants me. We recently moved so we continue to transition and see where God wants us. I (and we) need to find peace, direction and hope through God. We never know where He may lead us and use us. If someone said this pandemic was coming, we would have all say no way!! If someone said I would be in over 55 housing, be an author of four books, start more seriously with a daily prayer journal and even blogging, I would have said no way!! But God has a different plan for each of us. We need to be more intentional and act on God’s plans. If we wait too long we will accomplish nothing. Ecclesiastes 11:4  says’, “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever watches the cloud will no reap.” NIV. Stop waiting, seek Him and watch Him work. Pick something God is pressing you and write it down and act on it today. I picked trying to extend my prayer time.
