Little different this week on my blog. I have two items. One is my favorite Bible verse and my ten books I have read.

Bible verse is Galatians 6:9:  ”Let us not lose heart in doing good for in due time you will reach a harvest of blessings if you do not be discouraged and give up”.

My favorite books in no particular order:

  1. One year Chronological Bible (at my current pace this will take me about 15 months).
  2. When Life gets Shaky: Parkinson’s and other Trials by Dale Hansen
  3. Lovin God by JI Packer.
  4. The 3 C’s That Made America Great by Mike Huckabee
  5. Leadership in Turbulent Times by Doris Kearns Good
  6. Water Walking by John Ortberg
  7. Man in the Mirror by Patrick Morley
  8. Seven Seasons of the Man in the Mirror by Patrick Morley

About the Author Dale Hansen is retired and spends his time reading, running, mentoring others and watching his grandkids. He enjoys leading small Bible study groups which he has done for over 30 years. During his marriage of over 40 years, there have been numerous God workings through their lives. These include infertility, adoption, cancer, kidney stones and Parkinson’s. He has two awesome married daughters, 2 great sons-in-law and four wonderful grandsons. He lives in Plainfield, IL
